For a GmbH: minimum CHF 20,000 share capital (cash or contributions in kind). For an AG: minimum CHF 100,000, of which at least CHF 50,000 must be paid in at formation. Both can be funded by cash or contributions in kind such as equipment or IP.
You need: a valid ID or passport for all founders and managing directors, a blocked capital deposit account confirmation from your bank, a Swiss domicile address (or use our domicile service), and a clear idea of your company name and purpose. We'll guide you through everything.
Yes — Swiss law requires at least one natural person resident in Switzerland to be authorised to represent the company. If you don't have this, we can discuss options during your consultation.
Yes, absolutely. Consultations are available in-person at our Lucerne office or via Microsoft Teams. Hourly rate is CHF 270 incl. VAT (minimum one hour). Note: the consultation is not included in the CHF 890 formation package and is billed separately.
No — commercial register fees are paid directly to the cantonal authority and are not included in our CHF 890 fee. These vary by canton but are typically between CHF 600–900 for a GmbH and CHF 800–1,200 for an AG. We'll give you an exact figure upfront.
